Fernando Torres previously at Atletico Madrid has just confirmed his move to Liverpool- ''One of the best, if not the best club in Europe''. The Spanish player moved for a record breaking 26.5 Million pounds breaking the previous club record of 14 Million pounds for Djibril Cisse. The player has scored 82 goals and has appeared 214 times for Atlatico.
The 23 year old expressed his dissapointment at leaving the club he supported as a child but says that one day he will return. This afternoon Fernando Torres will fly to England to complete the deal. Torres is demanding £100k-a-week from Liverpool. Rafael just about won the deal from Inter Milan.
