After last Sunday's French Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso is convinced that his Mclaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton will faulter because of the increasing pressure of leading the Formula One Drivers' championship.
After the first seven races, Hamilton has finshed in the top three each time and carried on his great form on Sunday, finishing 3rd. This increased his lead at the top of the Championship to 14 points.
Alonso, after finishing an uninspiring 7th, still believes that he has a strong chance of winning his 3rd consecutive championship, and feels that he himself could cause an upset at Silverstone this weekend.
'More than Ferrari being strong, I have to focus on Hamilton, who currently leads the world championship', said the Spaniard. 'He has a 14-point advantage over me and I will try everything at Silverstone,'
