Eggxiting news, Mother preseves eggs for daughter.
A woman in Canada has preserved her eggs for her infertile daughter to use in later life.
In Canada yesterday, Melanie Boivin decided to freeze her eggs and preserve them for her seven year old daughter who may be infertile. The controversial decision was a shock to many as it will be a ethical concern. People may find it morally wrong that the daughter will effectively be giving birth to her brother or sister. In some religions this will be thought of as a sin and may harm the daughter's future in the long-run. Flavie Boivin has Turner's syndrome, a condition which causes the inhibition of growth and certain learning difficulties, people are not sure, but it could affect the fertility of the woman in question. The mother justifies her decision by saying "I do not want to oblige her to use the eggs , "I want to give her the option". It is perfectly legal so we will have to wait and see.
