Floods in Sudan make thousands homeless!
Thousands of people have been made homeless as unexpected floods sweep across the region.
Yesterday, flash floods incapacitated the already hunger stricken Sudan. Chaos reigns as those already homeless have their few possessions torn from them. " they have no shelter, there is a real risk of disease outbreaks" said Afaf Bukhari, a member of the Sudanese Red Crescent. As if this wasn't bad enough the forecast implies there is more rain to come. The irony is that most of the year there isn't enough water, sadly it has all come at once. There is no death toll yet but aid charities already stretched to their limits can't give any more help.
