new research has shown that antioxidants in dark chocolate can help lower blood pressure. Health central website claims to have limated chocolate portions to 30 calories a day.
But too much chocolate will not reduce your blood pressure as Drak Chocolate has a large amount of sugar attached, this information is new to everyone as it was researched and shown on July 4th 2007. The study which took place in America included 44 Adults between the ages og 56-73, who had high blood pressures. For 18 weeks 15 members were asked to consume 30 Calories of Dark Chocolate a day and the others were told to consume 30 Calories of White Chocolate. Differences between white and dark chocolate is that the 'polyphenols' is in the Dark choloclate and this helps decrease blood pressure.
By the end of the study the volunteers who had consumed the Dark chocolate had less blood pressure than the volunteers that consumed the white chocolate.
