Vicious Gales Set For Britain
Gales and heavy rain expected in Britain by Wednesday.
Weather conditions are set to worsen across Britain within the week. Weather reports state that winds could reach gale force 8 in Wales, South West England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

From Wednesday strong winds and heavy rain are expected to indicate an end to the mild Autumn weather.

On Saturday 11th November two men were killed after being hit by a wave on an oil tanker near Orkney, in Scotland. On the same day, a roof was blown off a supermarket in Chester due to ferocious winds.

Paul Knightly, a meteorologist at MeteoGroup UK said: "There will probably be some gales in places on the western side" by Wednesday. He later added that the predicted weather was "at the moment, nothing too exceptional" for this time of year.

However, Mr Knightly warns "sometimes these exceptional storms can appear on the (computer) models only a day or two before they develop."
