4 DEAD IN SUBURBAN MURDER
3 generations of the same family killed by jealous ex-lover.
A mother, two children and a grandmother were found dead in their home early on Monday morning.  A man has been arrested in relation to the murders after a prolonged search of his house.
Elizabeth Sobo, who worked in the local ASDA, her two children, Abigail, 12, and Steven, 5, and their Grandmother Omotunde were found in the Kenton home at 9am.  Hawthorn gardens, in suburban Newcastle-upon-Tyne, was cordoned off immediately by police.
Neil Crampton, 33, a bartender from nearby Gateshead, is thought to have had a relationship with Elizabeth Sobo.  At the time of the murder, Miss Sobo was in a new relationship.  He was arrested whilst driving and taken for questioning after his house was searched for several hours.
Detective Superintendent Steve Wade, who is leading the muder enquiry, said "I can confirm that this is a murder investigation involving the deaths of what are believed to be four members of the same family.  There are two adults and two children."
How the family died and if any weapons were involved or have been found is yet to be established.
