Extras battle it out
Comedy duo Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who have achieved great joint success must now go head-to head for the title of comedy award.
Ricky Gervais and Stephan Merchant who burst onto our screens with the phenomenally successful sitcom, The Office, will now competew against each other to clench success for themself. The comedy 'couple' are up against great competition from a long list of rising comdy actors/actresses.
The comedy combat will consist of mountain of accomplished performers with the likes of David Mitchell and Robert webb, who are up for the hugely successful sketch show, that Mitchell and Webb Look. Other awards also being presented at the comedy awards, being hosted by Jonathan Ross on the 13th of December, include top personaliy award.
The favourites for this award include Catherine Tate, Ant and Dec, Harry Hill and Paul Merton. To add to the possibility of further achievement to Gervias and Merchant, their American spinoff, The Office: An American Workplace, is also up for an award.
