After Wayne Rooney broke his metatarsal bone on April 29th, it was the general feeling that he wouldn't be ready for the world cup finals. But rooney is surprising everyone by making a speedy recovery. Sven Goran-Eriksson has even hinted that Rooney might even play in England's opening game against Paraguay on June 10th.
