Impossible exam taken by students
An impossible GCSE exam was taken by 11,000 teenage students in 150 diffrent schools.
Yesterday, a GCSE exam was taken by 11,000 teenage students who expected it to be challenging but not impossible.
It was found out to be incompletable beacause a vital source booklet was not given out to the students siting the test. The booklet contained cartoons, writing and pictures that were required to complete the exam. This was supposed to be supplied by the AQA exam board. But they failed to send to send the leaflet but the pupils were told to take the exam anyway. A teacher who wished to remain anonymous said the booklet was needed for a third of the questions.
Mother, Kim Beckley, whose son sat the exam said, "It was his first GCSE and has been a terrible experience for him. There were children crying around him and the headteacher had been shouting on the phone to the exam board most of the afternoon."
We hope that they will be able to retake their exams.
