The 62 year old Rolling Stones guitarist had an accident when he fell out of a tree in Fiji while on holiday. He was kept in Auckland hospital in New Zealand for 10 days. He and the Stones deny him having a second operation as reported in New Zealand.
   Last night a spokesman for the family maintained that he "continues to improve as expected." However according to the New Zealand Herald he underwent his first operation 12 days ago and medical staff feared for his life at the time.
   Before yesterdays developments, the Rolling Stones fans feared th worst because of the lack of official information regarding Richards' condition.
