A highland cow escaped its pen in wiltshire and charged an oncoming police car yesterday at 10.55 PM.
A highland cow escaped from its pen yesterday and began to wander the countryside. When it wandered onto a nearby main road at 10.55 pm, it decided to charge at an oncoming police car.
The cow, weighing more than a tonne, inflicted heavy damage to the front of the car, denting the bonnet and ripping the grill off completely. it almost caused a major accident as cars and lorries swerved away.
The cow was captured at midnight and taken to a feild where it is being kept until the police can find its owner. No one was injured in the accident.
