United Nations meet to discuss North Korea punishment
spokesmen say North Korea is now in worst conditions since the Korean war.
The United Nations will meet tomorrow to discuss how North Korea should be punished for conducting an underground nuclear test. Meanwhile an official North Korea spokesman has said that they will only agree to disarmament if the United States will come to some sort of compromise.
North Korea announced on Monday that they conducted this nuclear test. Since then many countries are worrying for their security. South Korean Unification Minister, Lee Jong-Seok, has expressed that he believes there aren't any suggestions for further testing but has ordered the armed forces of South Korea to stay alert.
President George W. Bush expressed how he felt that a UN Security Council meeting was essential and has said that the test was a "threat to international peace and security". Britain, France and Japan have also called for strong sanctions against N. Korea.
Hopefully tomorrow's meeting will conclude in the agreement for North Korea's punishment.
