Greater salary for foster parents
A better life for unsupported children...
An issue involving foster parents in the UK are said to have their salaries raised. It has come to a concern that the children of whom are in care are already going to face a tougher life than normal children and are facing early disadvantages.
Alan Johnson, an education secretary, brought this concern to the publics notice because they want to improve emotional and financial security. Mr Johnson wants a better way of life for children who are missing out on the support they deserve.
This concern following the salaries was introduced to us yesterday, Monday 9th October. Mr Johnson who has already made extra financial support an issue is going into detail and researching the facts about proper salaries for foster parents.
The other issue that has been raised involves better educational finance for children. £2000 worth of bursaries have already been supplied to foster parents to help the children get into universities. More schools have been told to accept children in care. Mr Johnson said this "salaries for foster parents will be more than just a token honorarium".
