Schumacher blows out
Schumacher is defiant in defeat after blow out, needing full points with Alonso needing one.
 Schumacher finds himself trailing in the championship after his Ferrari engine blows. He suffered from engine faliure at the Suzuka allowing Alonso to snatch the win from behind Schumacher. 
Schumacher finds himself now trailing by nine points and is needing the full ten in Brazil. Alonso currently finds himself sitting on top needing to retain his crown. For Schumacher to win the championship he need Alonso to finish below eighth, whilst he cruises to a win. 
The next race in Brazil will test the brilliance of the formula one great. Schumacher still has high hopes of a win to mark his retirement from formula one. Both Ferrari and there rival, Renault, have suffered failures but in general they are very reliable so the ball seems to be in Alonso's court. 
Fernando Alonso reckons Michael Schumacher will ditch his disappointment and will go gunning for the formula one title glory in Brazil. The world champion refuses to acept the german has given up on a record eighth world title before retiering. Alonso, who only has to finish in the final round's top eight, said: "Even when still a small chance, he will still be fighting."
