Paul Hunter, dies at age 27 of cancer
THE Famous three-time masters champion Paul Hunter has died. On Monday night the 27 year old died of Cancer after being diagnosed with a neuro-endocrine tumour in march 2005.
The Yorkshireman had determination and won respect from his fans, as he played throughout his illness, even as he went through chemotherapy. He will be leaving a wife, Lindsay, and 9-month-old daughter Evie Rose. 
 
The sudden death of such a young rising star has taken English snooker players and pundits alike by surprise. Fellow English snooker player Ken Doherty said, ''We've lost a great character and champion, and a great friend.''  


No date has been set yet for a funeral, but when it comes, donations and condolences are sure to come in thick and fast from across the nation.
