A 59-year-old American diabetic man was found injured four days after a car crash where he lost control of his vehicle and plummeted into 30 feet of brush. The man, Raymond A. Vachon survived by eating crackers and drinking dew from leaves and the car's windscreen.
  He was reported missing on Tuesday by his wife when he did not return from his overnight security job. When he was found on Saturday doctors discovered that he had a severe leg fracture and he was also described as 'weak and dehydrated'. As a diabetic, Vachon was dependant on insulin and had to inject himself whilst falling in and out of consciousness.
  Vachon didnt have a mobile phone to call for help, so was stranded. He said "I was in so much pain. There was nothing left to do but scream and yell." Vachon's wife was relieved to see her husband unscathed. Clearly 'Whim's Thin' crackers have a lot to answer for.
