Insulin dependant man survives crash
59-year old diabetic man in U.S. survives for 4 days on crackers and dew after being trapped with a broken leg when he crashed his car.
Raymond A. Vachon, a 59-year old diabetic, lost control of his SUV at around 5am. He crashed 30 feet into the brush along route 32. He managed to survive for 4 days on just crackers and dew found on his windshield and leaves surrounding him.

Vachon spent 4 days in and out of conciousness due to lack of insulin intake. He had a fractured leg but eventually managed to reach his insulin and crackers that he always kept in his car. However, he did not have a phone on his persons and so was unable to call for help. He began to yell, and luckily a dog walker heard his crys and found him on saturday morning. His wife had reported him missing on October 3, after he did not return to work, and so when the dog walker found him, she was very much relieved.
