Stargazers study ancient galaxies discovered using Hubble telescope
Astronomers are amazed after discovering over 500 ancient galaxies that could give an insight into the history of the universe.
Astronomers analysing the Hubble Ultra Deep Field have discovered over 500 ancient galaxies that have been said to have existed less than a billion years after the Big Bang.
Discovered during research in 2003 and 2004, these new galaxies may give a new insight into the early history of the universe.
Rychard J. Bowens of the University of California and his team were making a detailed analysis of the 'Hubble Ultra Deep Field' and 'Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey' when they made their history making discovery of the galaxies.
These galaxies from the ancient past are expected to make even more history, and will most definitely contribute our future aswell!
