Red Devils beaten by brave Copenhagon
Alex Ferguson is furious at his team as they let him down by a shock defeat
Manchester United were suprisingly beaten last night by FC copenhagon in the group stages of the champions league. This happened on 1st November at the Parken stadium and it was mainly because of some sloppy defending which allowed the swedish striker Marcus Allback to bundle the ball into the back of the visitor's net.

A corner from the right was knocked back and as the goalkeeper made the first save Allback came in for the historic goal against the red devils after 73 minutes. United were missing their star defender Gary Neville last night as he stayed at home with an injury, United were also without Ryan Giggs and Louis Saha as they were also injured.

The Copenhagen win ended Uniteds 100% start in Europe but the statistics do show that Manchester United played better and also that they had more chances, one of which was Christiano Ronaldo's shot which hit the home sides net but unfortuatly for the visitors was flagged offside. Ole Solskjaer also had a wonderful opportunity to score but due to the brave goalkeeping of Jesper Christiansen got his body behind the ball and kept FC Copenhagon in the competetive game.
