Murray Still Doubtful Over Wrist For Wimbledon
Three days to go and the UK's tennis champion, Andy Murray is still doubtful over playing at Wimbledon.
Andy Murray has recently announced that he still doesn't know if he will be fit enough to play at Wimbledon in just three days time. The twenty year old tennis star was reported to be reluctant to test his injured wrist at the National Tennis Centre on Wednesday. Murray has been practising for the past few weeks for the top tennis tournament and has implied his hand is getting better. "There's more to it than just my forehand. I can serve volleys fine but the ground strokes are taking time." Many Murray fans pray for him to maintain his title of eighth for Wimbledon.
Coach Brad Gilbert says Andy Murray will definately play at Wimbledon. However this does not relieve Andy's doctor who has forewarned him that if he plays unfit he would risk serious damage to his wrists. Murray's eagerness to play has been urged on when he given the same advice as the England striker, Michael Owen who hasn't played much in the past two years. The deciding factor of Murray playing - is his fitness.
