Bottoms up !
Man injured firing rocket from his bottom on bonfire night
On Sunday the 5th of November, in a firework display in the Monkwearmouth area, Sunderland, Daniel Tilley, a 22 year old soldier was injured firing a rocket from his bottom as he was trying to copy a scene from the film 'Jackass'.
He and a group of his friends where growing increasingly bored after setting off fireworks, he then decided to put a rocket up his backside and set it off.  He stood up and seemed unhurt although he fell to the ground and it was obvious he was bleeding.  At approximately 9:38 an ambulance was then called stating information about "a male who had a firework in his bottom".
After being rushed to hospital,Tilley's injuries where stated as being 'a scorched colon' although his condition was described as stable.
G Kaur Rai from Eltham Hill Technology College thinks "Its horrendous and terrible, doesn't he know that putting fireworks up your bottom is dangerous!"
This event really confirms the danger of fireworks and again raises the question to ban, or not to ban ?
