The disappearance of Madeleine on 3rd May is now over 12 days. The police have investigated some suspects who have been questioned overnight. A German woman and a Portuguese man have also been questioned. Robert Murat, a local British man is being treated as a suspect. His mother, Jenny, a British ex-pat living near where Madeleine disappeared has been running a market stall to help in the investigation. The British public have pledged over £3 million pounds as a reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the discovery of the child.
