Veterinary experts confirmed the case of brid flu was confirmed in north Wales. The infection by H7N2 strain was being investigated and the 30 remaining birds on the farm were slaughtered.

The infection by H7N2 strain was being investigated and the 30 remaining birds on the farm were slaughtered, Wale's chief vet Dr Christianne Glossop said "H7N2 is a low pathogenic of avian influenza, different to the highly pathogenic H5N1 strain." The risk to the health of general public is very low, the government said in a statement.
