Too old to give birth?
The 60 year old from New Jersey gave birth to twin boys on Tuesday. Possibly making her the oldest woman, in the United States, to deliver twins by caesarean section at Hackensack University Medical Centre.
Freida Birnbaum, the 60 year old psychologist, delivered two 4 pounds 11 ounces twin boys. But doesn't she feel too old to be pregnant at the age of 60? Her reply being "I don't feel like I went through a lot of truama during delivery or even through ther process of being pregnant."
Being pregnant inspired her to go on another mission, a mission hoping to inspire other women. On Thursday on NBC's "Today" show she said "My mission here, the reason I'm doing this is to help other women. It's really basically about women and empowerment."
