Last night at the Hollywood's Kodak Theatre was the 78th Academy Awards Ceremony. It was presented by Jon Stewart. Celebrities actors from all around the world joined together for the the 2006 Oscars awards.

The Best actress award went to Reese Witherspoon. The Supporting actress award went to Rachel Weisz. The Best actor award went to Philip Seymour Hoffman. The Best supporting actor awards went to George Clooney. The Best motion picture award went to the film "Crash".  The Best animated film went to "Wallace and Gromit: the curse of the ware-rabbit".


The Worst Actress went to Jenny McCarthy. The Worst Actor went to Rob Schneider.


Everyones most favourite film "Brokeback Mountain" came second in last nights Oscars and lost to the film "Crash".
