Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (15) (Running Time: 84 mins)
Kazakhstani news reporter Borat is sent to find out about American Life.
A young Kazakhstani reporter named Borat is sent by the Ministry of Defence to go to America, to learn about American culture. After arriving he gets side-tracked from his reporting and begins his search for Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, who he has fallen madly in love with.
The film caused outrage in Kazakhstan as the film was "a bad represention of Kazakhstan and its people."
Borat's adventrures are what makes this film so funny. He meets a group of religious zealots, a group of feminists (to comic effect) and a rodeo 'family'.
This film is hilarious. One of the funniest films ever! The way Sacha Baron Cohen plays such an ignorant character. I just could not stop laughing! Some parts you had to look away in disgust but was an extremly funny film. I would give this film an 9 out of 10. A MUST SEE!
