Casino Royale (12A) (Running Time: 144 mins)
Bond is back in the latest installment in the James Bond series.
This film takes the audience back to the beginning, when he first became 007. James Bond (Daniel Craig) is sent to Le Casino Royale in Montenegro. Here, he is assigned to stop a terrorist leader Le Chiffre from winning a poker game which if we wins, will fund his terrorist activities. The character "M" played by Judi Dench returns as well to instruct 007 on his missions.

This is Daniel Craig's first 007 adventure and he did it superbly. This was also the first James Bond film where he properly fell in love and would give it all up for her. The fight scenes where very cleverly done with huge jumps and leaps, just as it should be done. The bond song was a bit dissappointing but the action sequences made up for all of that. Also there was a little too much emphaasis on James Bonds emotions when he is supposed to be cool, calm and collected.

Having said which the film itself on a whol was a success. The poker scenes gave a great break from the hard hitting action but keep you interested at the same time. I have seen quite alot of James Bond films and this has to be one of my favourites. Plus there is alot of humour inserted. I would give this film an 9 out of 10. Go and see it!
