Wayne Rooney questioned about a nightclub brawl
Shrek lookalike behaves like ogre outside nightclub.
England striker Wayne Rooney is being questioned by police about the incident that allegedly occured outside the Panacea bar located in Manchester. Rooney was involved in a bit of rough and tumble with a celebrity photographer after attending boxer Joe Calzaghe's party last month. The photographer has handed in a statement to the police.
A member of Greater Manchester police stated that the photographer did not require any medical treatment as he wasn't brutally injured. Some are asking why it has taken police so long to bring Rooney in for questioning.
This links to his behaviour in March when he was also in for questioning in connection with an assault involving a student. The student had decided to press charges. Roshni from Nower Hll High School had this to say about the footie star, "I think its typical of Rooney, he's always up for trouble and causes disapointment to fans".
