The 21 year old English football star has recently been questioned about an early morning brawl outside the Panacea Nightclub on John Dalton Street.  Rooney is expected to have been involved in a disagreement with a news photographer.  Shortly after 5.05am October 15th the Manchester Police recieved a report that a citizen had been assualted, but he did not require medical attention.
  The england youngster is due to have an appointment with Manchester Police and they are trying to find a convienient time for both sides.  
  Rooney who allegedly assualted the photographer competed against Wigan Athletic in Manchesters 3-1 triumphant victory, but he did not score in this fixture maybe due to pressure.
  He has not yet been charged or arrested for the alleged assualt, but a spokesman claims 'An appointment will be made for a 21-year-old man to attend a Greater Manchester Police station to be questioned in connection with an incident on John Dalton Street on Sunday, October 15.'
