Cornwall's 'Ultrabroadband'!
An internet cafe in Cornwall has the fastest-ever internet connection.
Computers at Goonhilly satellite station in Cornwall, are connected to BT's global internet protocol network giving users broadband speeds up to 50 times faster than an average home broadband connection.
The users of the connection at Goonhilly can download data at speeds of up to 100 MB per second. This means information that would normally take in excess of five hours with a normal internet connection, takes less than 15 minutes with this superfast broadband.
This free internet cafe, recently opened by two students Chloe Smith and James Evans at Helston Community College attracts over 80,000 people each year.
