Too many England fans. No where to put them
Those fans supporting England will soon come pouring into Gelsenkirchen to watch Portugal on Saurday, but there are doubts as to how to fit all the fans into the city centre.
This Saturday the highly awaited England quarter final match against Portugal raises doubts as to how tens and thousands of England fans will fit in the narrow streets and compact squares of Gelsenkirchen.
There are an estimate of 60,000 fans flying from the UK who are expected to arrive in Germany. In order to erase the issue of space as to where people would stay, many England fans will move to larger cities such as Dusseldorf, Dortmund and Essen, where they will only travel to Gelsenkirchen for the match.
Due to the lack of space and large crowds, the police are aware that this situation can cause plenty of trouble, as fans may be aggrevated by the opposing team supporters and therefore fights would break out. As this has already been shown during the World Cup whereby 129 England supporters were banned from the watching the Portugal match.
Due to the vast amount of England fans it has been said that back home, in the UK, there is an expected large strain on the electricity as millions of fans will simulataneously make cups of tea during the breaks in order to calm nerves.
