Policeman strikes young woman repetitively
Shocking CCTV footage reveals policemen striking young black woman repititively.
Police officers have been caught on CCTV cameras hitting a young black woman after being called to a Sheffield nightclub last July night. Police were called to the scene after Ms Comer had vandalised a car after being thrown out of the nightclub. Chief Superintendant Ali Dizaei, of the National Black Police Association, said that it was "absolutely" a concern that race may have been an issue.
Ms Comer was hit several times by police officers and CCTV footage showed her and a police officer falling down the stairs outside the club with the officer eventually landing on top of her. The officer said that he struck Ms Comer "as hard as i am phsyically able." Ms Comer couldnt even believe the attack herself after seeing the footage the morning later.
She now, understandably, wants to sue the policeman for £250 as compensation for the horrific event. The Chief Constable said it was part of the use of the 'force continuum' tp strike people. It is quite clear that there is more to this story than meets the eye. The whole story is being investigated on just a few seconds of CCTV footage which makes the event all the more controversial.
