A young black women, Ms Comer, 20, from sheffield was arrested in mid July outside a nightclub for criminal damage to the security guards car. However the arrest was not standard procedure - Ms Comer was brutally attacked and beaten by PC Mulhall. She was rolled down a set of stairs outside the club then punched five times and a boot was swung into her limp body. She was finally dragged away into a police van. She was then charged £250 for criminal damage - not a good day for Ms Comer. the incident was recorded on CCTV showing PC Mulhall administering his unnecessary abuse. However the officer has not yet been charged for his actions.
