A police officer was filmed fighting with a black woman before she was arrested. The woman, Toni Comer, was thrown out of a nightclub and then continued to damage a car belonging to one the security staff.
The police were called in after reports of a disturbance and found Ms. Comer drunk and apparently very aggressive from drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. She then apparently fell down the stairs before attempting to grab an officer by the knee and genitals.
The officer was then filmed punching Ms. Comer five times, although where is unsure. The incident took place in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The officer, whose identity is undisclosed, has been removed from public duty since the incident.
Ms. Comer, who has a previous conviction of Handling when she was 14, has been given a conditional discharge and a £250 fine for the damage to the vehicle. Her parents are now asking for an investigation into the incident.
