Students use web to cheat UCAS
Thousands of students that are hoping to get into unversity have used the web to make their application forms so that thye can get into the university that they want. Students have found phrases like "a fascination for how the human body works" and "burned a hole in my pyjamas at the age of eight" to make their application forms look more impressive to universities. Students have used the web as there is a lot of competition to get into univsersity. There has been evidence of plaigarism actions when the same phrases kept coming up in students application forms. Over one thousand UCAS applications have been cancelled by UCAS and more will be if these same phrases continue to pop up.
One in twenty students have used the internet as high numbers of students find it hard to write convising applcations about themselves. Students are also copying and pasting essays to pass it of as their own.
