"Horrific" Heathrow Highway Collision
Two planes collided at Heathrow Airport- "Heathrow has been operating for more than fifty years without a single collision"
An investigation on two planes is being carried out after a collision in Heathrow Aiport in West London on the 16th October. While taxiing at around 22:00, the British Airways Boeing 747, bound for Singapore, hit a Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A340 and caused major disruption to services at Heathrow. An ambulance was called but left after 10 minutes because there had been no injuries- or at least none that were reported.
Passengers aboard this flight have been offered a refund or a stay at a hotel until the next available flight and engineers are looking into the aircraft to ascertain the damage caused by the aircraft. The situation seemed straight-forward and was dealt with well by emergency services.

Danish journalist Annasofie Flamand claimed, "We turned our wing, almost hit what looked like the tail end of the British Airways flight, and we ended up chopping off a bit of a wing. It cut through like butter"
