Middle East Crisis Concluded?
There may still be some hope for the disastrous situation in the Middle East, as negotiators are sent to work on joint declaration between Israel and Palestine
It is reported that Israeli leader Ehud Olmort, and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas are set to meet in Jerusalem, in the presence of their negotiating teams to try to smash an agreement on core issues of the Middle East. These negotiating teams were formed at their last meeting in September in order to ensure progress in these talks on the ancient Middle East conflict.
However, both sides remain in discord about which argument to use at the meeting, as Ehud Olmort wants a much looser framework to come out of the US-sponsored peace summit, while President Mahmoud Abbas prefers a more detailed argument on the core issues.
After a seven-year freeze of the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, efforts are being made to revive them after Mahmoud Abbas appointed a Western-backed cabinet.
This meeting will surely shed some light on these ancient rivals. The time in which these two tyrants finally come to an agreement may be at hand.
