England in the Rugby World Cup final!
The England rugby team will be facing South Africa in the final after Jonny Wilkinson secured their place with a drop kick goal and a penalty late in the game!
It is a truly glorious time for all those England supporters out there! For the third time England have reached the Rugby World Cup final! They will be facing South Africa who previously hammered them 36 to 0 and beat Argentina in the semi-final 37 to 13.
Now the question must arise: Will we beat them? When England were 'trashed' by the South Africans we did not have Wilkinson or Vickery, our captain. But will that affect the final score? Will England have their revenge and win the World Cup for the second time? Or will South Africa teach them another lesson on Saturday? The only way to find out is to watch the game!
Unfortunately, John Lewsey will not be playing on Saturday due to an untimely "grade one strain" described the medical team. Lewsey was devastated and this is what he said, "I'm devastated, as you'd expect. It's cruel, but that's what sport does to you, even though you sacrifice a lot to put it first in your life. You set yourself goals, and sometimes these goals aren't achieved through no fault of your own. To create an opportunity and then have that opporunity taken away from you... it's hard to take."
All the England fans will be praying that Lewsey's absence will not affect the final score, and the South Africa fans will be hoping for the opposite but we will see on Saturday who will win.
