Drinking Danger!
A report has revealed that over a quarter of adults drink too much. Amongst them are mostly the middle class people, who are damaging their health through regular heavy drinking.
Today a report has given the shocking news that over a quarter of adults drink far too much, damaging their health. These are mostly middle class people and this could be for many reasons....
The League of Local Authority revealed the areas where people are the most prone to binge drinking. Surrey was in seventh place for the areas with heavy drinking. Also, there was Manchester included in this disgraceful list.
It is shown that on average, men consume about 22 to 50 units a week of alchohol and women consume 15 to 35 unis a week! Drinking at this dangerous level will seriously damge our body health and lead to various diseases. However, could all this drinking have a reason? Is there a specific reason that it is mostly middle class people who drink the most?
Middle class people have jobs such as: teaching, small businesses owners and doctors. These are time consuming and usually result in stress. Alcohol could be our way of getting rid of that stress and relaxing. But in this situation, we must ask ourselves: Should prices of alcohol be raised?
