British detectives have been asked to investigate the backgrounds of Kate and Gerry McCann. Detectives in Portugal are hopeful that this investigation may uncover something significant in the McCann's past which could possibly help their case following the disappearance of their daughter, Madeleine McCann.
The McCann's are under incredible stress as they are now facing shocking new claims that a decomposing body was found recently in their hired car. This shocking news had come to light after forensic test results had allegedly shown 'bodily fluid' from a corpse in the boot of the Renault Scenic that was rented by Kate and Gerry McCann 25 days after she went missing.
It is understood though that further tests are being currently waited on to suggest whether the DNA belongs to the body of Madeleine.
