Bush condemns Saddam's Hanging
US Public faith in the Iraqi government has been knocked after Bush claims Saddam's execution looked like ' a kind of revenge killing'
US Public faith in the Iraqi government has been knocked after Bush claims Saddam's execution looked like ' a kind of revenge killing'. President Bush raised the opinion that Iraqi Prime Ministe Nuri al-Maliki has 'some maturation to do' due to his feelings about Saddam Hussein's undignified execution.
Iraq has found its sectarian divide widened by the execution of Saddam, at which he was taunted on his way to the gallows by his Shia guards.
Bush stated last week that he was willing to send 21,500 more troops to Iraq in a plan he as formulated to attempt to calm violence in Iraq. Bush's plan would require the Iraqi government to confron Shia Militias and death squads in Baghdad, and that with Maliki's support violence in Iraq could undergo a significant decrease and US officials have publicly declared confidence in Maliki. However his will and ability have been said to be called into question privately.
