Banish the pout- a smile will get you further. Scientists have discovered that your attractiveness can be increased by peoples' reaction to you. Dr. Ben Jones, who led the reasearch, has hailed this discovery as "the first time that a phenomenon called social learning- where we learn by what other people think or do, has been shown to influence attractiveness". It was previously thought to be a matter of personal taste, but a study involving both male and female participants has revealed that women find a man more attractive if other women smile at him.
Women were shown photographs of two men with similar facial features, and were asked which one they preferred. They watched a slide show of pictures of other women, either smiling at the men or looking dissinterested. When  asked to rate the photographs, most women preferred the man whom the other women were smiling at. So beauty is not only in the eye of the beholder but in your friends' eyes too!!
