Channel 4 have been flooded by over 27 000 complaints from the public after fears Shilpa Shetty is being targeted in the house because of her race. She has spoken out for the first time of fears that she is being discriminated against by the other housemates. Speaking to Cleo Rocos, she made it clear that she feels like a victim of racism and that her race is the reason why her and Jade Goody do not get on. "It is, i'm telling you." 
Fellow housemate Jade Goody told the actress to "go back to the slums," following an argument over stock cubes.  Jade Goody's spokeswoman spoke out in her defence, "I have not heard Jade say anything that could be interpreted as a racial mark." 
"I am not denying the fact it appears Jade dislikes Shilpa but I don't believe race is the reason."
