Prince William To Present FA Cup
Prince William will present the FA Cup to the winning team on his first day as the President of the Football Association as well as attending the finals in numerous locations across the UK.
London - Second in line to the English Throne, Prince William, 23, will be presenting the FA Cup to the winning team of the popular football tournament. The Prince will award the cup on his first day as the new President of the National Football Association this saturday at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
Liverpool and Westham United will be battling for the first prize, which is only one of the many obligations the busy Prince will be facing this weekend. On his first FA Cup final, he will present the FA Cup player of the round awards to players from teams of every round of the competition. William will meet with the senior FA officials and lunch with them and the VIPs at the FA lounge in Cardiff.
Yet the finals are viewed by many fans in despair as officials from Liverpool Football Club are still negociating with the Football Association over the theft of 1,600 tickets. Even with devestated fans, the crowds are hoped to be pleased with the new President's performance this weekend.
