Police found a 300-year-old book made from human skin.
On April the 8th in the city centre of Leeds police made a horrific discovery of book bound in human skin on the street. It appeared to have been dropped there by a burglar.Books made from human skin was common in the 18th and 19th centuries however, during those times after a murder case the judge would record information of the case in the murderers skin.
The book was mainly written in French and was 300 years old. They found the man who owned the book after many police investigations. He was arrested and got released by technical bail.
