A 300 year old book bound in human skin was found April the 8th in Headrow, Leeds, on its streets. It was suspected that the book had been dropped by a robber after a burglary.
Most of the writing in the book is in French. Using human skin to bind books in France, around the 18th to the 19th century, was not uncommon. it was commmon in france during the french revelution to use a term know scientificly as "anthropodermic bibliopegy" which is when the book which was used to record the trails of a murderer would bee bound by the human skin of the killer.
A man was brought into the police station in his early 20s arrested with connection to the human skin book. He was quickly bailedout by an unknown person. The police are searching for him for further enquiries.
