Prince to Present the FA Cup
Prince William is going to present the FA cup to the winners on Saturday the 13th May 2006. The big game is betwen Liverpool & West Ham
      Prince William, 23, is going to present the FA cup to the winners on saturday after becoming the new president of the Football Association. The prince will attend his first ever FA cup final between the sides Liverpool and West Ham at the millenium stadium in Cardiff, South Wales. 
The Prince will also present Player Of The Round awards, where he will point out and award the best player from every round of the tournament with a medal.
      Before the match, the prince will meet with FA officials for a Lunch inside the stadium to discuss his roles as the new president. The prince will also be awarding all the officials from the tournament with medals and specail recognition. The prince has recently been training with Charlton Athletic in preperation as new president, even though he supports Aston Villa.
      The prince has always been athletic all his life, he was the school rugby and hockey captain. he enjoyed swimming, running and all kinds of sport, so this does not come as a huge surprise.This is a big step for the prince and he hopes to settle well with his new job. 
The FA cup started in 1872 and is the oldest cup in English history. FA itself is an abbreviation for "The Famous Cup". More than 30 different clubs have reached the final or won the whole cup.
