The book was made during the French Revolution, in the 1790's. The book was written mainly in French. Murder Trials written in France during this time were often bound in the skin of the murderer. However this book was found to be a prayer book.
When the cover was put on the book, the book was 100 years old already at the time. The skin itself is 200 hundred years old, and the book 300 years old.
A 20 year old man has been arrested in connection to the burglary of the book, however he has been released because of technical bail.
