It has been said that Sony is releasing the next Playstation first announced at E3 in LA.
Sony's new game console, the PS3 will be available in stores on the 17th November in The Us and Europe. It will be sold  in the US between 500-600 Us dollars.
This new technology is in tough compeition with many other companies such as Microsoft and Nintendo, but it has been said that the PS3 will be the top of the range out of all of the consoles.
The Playstation has the ability to sense the actions the player is doing, the sensors are in the console and when the player moves the game reacts. 
The console comes in 2 different colors, Black and silve and it looks simular to the old Playstaion.
The controller for this Playstation is wireless although you can get it with a wire too, the controller is very simular to  the old Playstations too.
Sony has been said that they are going to design new games for the PS3 but PS1 and PS2 games will still be played on this new console.
